OJ Garza is the founder of First Class Hitting. OJ graduated from the St. Mary's University in 2001, capping his senior campaign by being selected as a Second Team NCAA Division II All-American by the american baseball coaches association and named to the First Team All-Region, First Team All-Conference, Regional MVP, World Series All Tournament Team, National Champion 2001 and most outstanding athlete at St. Mary's 2001. O.J. Batted .425 with 18 HR, 87 RBI's his senior year. Other notable awards included Rookie of The Year, and all earned First team All-conference and All-Region Team in 1999.
After College O.J. continued to play baseball for 6 years with independent professional baseball. He played with the Edinburg Roadrunners, Evansville Otters, Richmond Roosters, and Laredo Broncos.
Unlike many other instructors, OJ does not believe that there is only one way to hit a baseball. He strives to develop an approach that is tailored to each student based on careful and informed analysis of his or her natural swing and body movements
